Capture fast.
Plan today.
Finish what matters.

TaskFlow is a to-do list built for the two moments that decide your day: getting a task out of your head in one line, and knowing exactly what to do next. Everything lives on your device, so it is instant and works with the network off.

No sign-up, no ads, no analytics SDK. Your tasks never leave your phone.

Private by design

Forgiving

Undo on every list action, and deleted tasks rest in Trash for 30 days.

Why TaskFlow

Everything you need to actually finish

Most to-do apps are either too simple to plan with or too heavy to open. TaskFlow gives you a fast capture box, five different ways to look at your work, and focus tools for the moment you sit down to do it.

Smart Add in one line

Type Review spec tomorrow 3pm #Work !high and TaskFlow pulls out the date, time, project and priority — then shows you exactly what it understood before you save.

  • Natural dates: tomorrow, next Monday, in 2 hours
  • Repeats: every weekday, every 3rd Wednesday
  • Tap any parsed chip to remove it

A Today view that decides for you

Overdue tasks are pulled to the top in red; today's work sits underneath. Upcoming groups the next seven days, so nothing sneaks up on you.

  • Live badge with overdue + due-today count
  • Swipe to complete or delete, with undo
  • Empty states that offer the next action

Prioritise with the Eisenhower matrix

Four quadrants — Do First, Schedule, Delegate, Eliminate — so you can see the difference between urgent and important instead of just "a lot".

  • Tasks sorted by urgency and importance
  • Move a card between quadrants in one tap
  • Complete with undo, right from the card

Kanban board per project

Every section becomes a column. Long-press to drag cards into order, or use the move menu to send one across columns. Set a work-in-progress limit to stop a column from overflowing.

  • Per-section WIP limits with a clear refusal message
  • Order persists across restarts

Pomodoro that survives a locked screen

Link the timer to a task, start a focus session, and the countdown keeps running in a foreground service with pause, resume and stop controls in the notification.

  • Configurable work, short break and long break lengths
  • Focus minutes feed straight into your analytics

Habits and streaks

Mark any recurring task as a habit and TaskFlow draws a full-year heatmap with current streak, best streak and total active days.

  • Toggle a habit with undo from the list
  • Repeats parsed from plain English

Capture

Write it the way you'd say it

Smart Add parses your sentence as you type. Dates, times, repeats, projects, labels and priority are all understood in plain language — and every match is shown as a removable chip, so you are never guessing what the parser did.

  • Precedence you can predictProjects, then labels, then priority, then repeats, then dates and times.
  • Fuzzy project matchingType #hme and TaskFlow still finds "Home" — quoting handles names with spaces.
  • Email addresses stay safebob@example.com in a title is never mistaken for a label.
  • Turn it off if you preferA single toggle in Settings makes the capture box plain text again.

You type

Call the dentist next Tuesday at 9am #Health !high

TaskFlow understands

Tue 22 Sep 09:00 #Health !high

Saved as

Call the dentist Tue 22 Sep · 09:00 · Health P2

Claimed words are stripped from the title automatically.

Views

One list, as many angles as you need

Your tasks are one dataset. Which view you open depends on the question you are asking — what do I do now, what is urgent, what is coming, or how am I doing?

Eisenhower matrix

Four fixed quadrants sort your active tasks by urgency and importance. "Do First" fills up when you have been avoiding something — which is exactly the signal you want.

  • Do First / Schedule / Delegate / EliminateBuilt from each task's type and due date — no manual filing.
  • Move a card, then breatheRe-classify from the card menu; complete with undo without leaving the grid.

Organise

A structure that grows with the work

Start with a single Inbox. Add projects, folders and sections when a list gets long; add labels when one task belongs to two worlds. Nothing is mandatory.

Projects, folders & sections

Group projects into collapsible folders and break a big project into sections that double as board columns. Colour-code every project.

Labels across projects

Tag a task with as many labels as it deserves, then open any label straight from the drawer to see just those tasks.

Subtasks that open

Break work down and tap a subtask to open its own detail sheet — checkbox, notes, due date and all. Completing works in both directions.

Saved filters

Build a smart list from status, priority, project, labels, due-date range and text, then star it to keep it in the drawer next to your projects.

Dependencies

Record what a task is blocked by and what it is blocking. TaskFlow rejects circular chains, so your plan can never eat itself.

Attachments, comments & history

Attach up to five files per task (5 MB each, copied into app-private storage), leave comments, and read a log of everything that changed.

Privacy

Your task list is nobody else's business

TaskFlow has no account system, no cloud sync and no internet permission at all. There is no server that could lose your data, because there is no server.

  • Local databaseTasks, projects, notes and history live in an on-device Room database.
  • You own the backupExport everything to JSON or CSV whenever you like, and import it back on a new phone.
  • Delete means deleteTrash keeps tasks for 30 days, then a daily cleanup removes them for good. "Delete all data" wipes everything.
  • No ads, no trackersNo analytics SDK, no advertising ID, no third-party data sharing.

Questions

Before you install

Is TaskFlow really free, and where do I get it?

Yes. TaskFlow is a free Android app distributed as an APK. The download page links to the signed release build and explains the two-minute install.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

Neither. There is no sign-up and no sync. The app stores everything locally and never requests the internet permission.

What happens to a task I delete?

It moves to Trash for 30 days, where you can restore it with one tap. After that a daily cleanup removes it permanently. You can also empty Trash yourself.

Can I move my data to a new phone?

Export your tasks to JSON or CSV from Settings, move the file across, and import it on the new device. JSON keeps projects, labels and reminders too.

Put your day in order in five minutes

Install TaskFlow, add three tasks, and watch the Today view do the planning for you.
